Hellzapoppin Offers Various Levels Of Board

At all levels, Farrier, Veterinarian, Horse Dentist, and other outside professionals are the responsibility of the owner. If the owner uses the Farm Professionals, the horse can be added to the Farm Schedule.

1. Full or Training Board (with or without tack cleaning) which includes everything included in Basic Board (below) AND having your horse worked and trained by Melanie. Many other amenities are included at this level. Perfect for the “weekend warrior” who wants their equine ready to go. It also includes dealing with the outside professionals, should the horse need to be held for the farrier (for example). Veterinarian prescribed treatment, for example, daily hosing or soaking, are also covered. Please speak to Melanie to explore all the options available.

2. Basic Board + PLUS. This includes basic board, described below, plus up to 8 exercises, miscellaneous barn supplies and up to three extra services (holding for vet or farrier, washing or treating injury).

3. Basic Board. This is often offered as “full board” in the ads you read. It includes a stall (w/mucking), feeding, turn out, eyes on monitoring of health status on at least a daily basis. Exercise is the responsibility of the owner. Any daily veterinarian prescribed treatment is the responsibility of the owner. Any special attention required for the safety/convenience of an outside professional is the responsibility of the owner. All supplies (shampoo, liniment, grooming tools, fly spray, etc) are the responsibility of the owner.

4. Field board. Includes turnout in a field with a shed and water. Grain as appropriate. Eyes on monitoring of health status on at least a daily basis. Everything else is the responsibility of the owner. *Prices subject to change without notice.

To explore what’s right for you and your horse, please discuss things in detail with Melanie.

NOTE: Melanie reserves the right to refuse to take on any horse under conditions which she deems inappropriate for the health, well being and safety of the horse and collaterally, its owner.

Board termination, requires a one month advance notice, as well as have all your account with Hellzapoppin Farm paid in full.
